Although, I would like to make a few changes to it first, re-build a few lots and so on, and to be able to do this to my satisfaction, I would need the grass terrain and the cobbled stone terrain. Do you happen to have those, to add to the in-game terrain painting tool? I would be forever grateful!

Thanks for download my little world. I haven’t been Simming for a while, but I do have the grass & cobble stone terrain paint for in game editing. Both were upload with links…. I think. I made the textures for CAW & edit lot so I’m sure they’re in my mod folder somewhere. I’ll get back to you when I track them down

Hi there. I’m back.
I’ve spent countless hours working on a new world but I’m not feeling too inspired these days.
For a change of pace I’m working on a story set in the early Georgian period. Situated vaguely in the vicinity of Bristol/Bath. The story starts off a bit of a cliche….. young lady from the country goes to town to find a suitable husband, but things take an unexpected turn.
I’ve been adding CC & store content to Caldey Isle.
I finally get to use my 8G of CC & store content again.
I’m also making lots of new Sims to populate the world.
After 7 days, Caldey Isle has been downloaded 384 times O_O
Caldey Isle is now available for download.
After month of planning, working, fussing, dithering & occasional naval gazing;
I’m finally ready for my little isle to fend for itself in the big world.
World Info:
- EPs used; All except GEN & ITF. No SPs, store content, or CC.
- It’s a small CAW map (4 chunks) File size 36MB.
- 35 Residential lots
- 32 Community lots
- Caldey Isle’s a picturesque fictional island, nestled in a small archipelago somewhere off the coast of Great Britain. Set sometime before the industrial revolution; roughly 17th to mid 19th century, so there are no roads, electricity, schools, hospitals, fire department or most of the mod cons we take for granted in the 21st century. I couldn’t resist indoor plumbing & basic kitchen appliances.
Don’t worry, it’s not that bleak.
- I’ve included quite a few rabbit holes.
There’s City Hall, Military, Police, Science, Business, Fortune Teller/Gypsy, Crypt of Antiquities, Equestrian, Theater, Criminal, Bookstore, Grocery & Restaurant rabbit holes. As well, as a salon, consignment store, junkyard, working mine, cemetery, sea ports, festival grounds & a variety of small shops scattered around the island.
- Though small, Caldey boast abundant resources. On land or sea there’s an wide selection of spawners available. I should also mention that my little isle harbors a startlingly large number of hidden treasure caches. If your Sim is fearless & resourceful, they could bring in quite an income looting tombs & poking into dark corners.
- It was a challenge building to my theme without CC or store content, but where possible I’ve left room to add your own. Cows, chickens, glassblowing, canning, baking, archery are just a few items that would fit perfectly on Caldey.
Caldey Isle’s a great place for a Sims to make their fortune & build a legacy.

I know how much you love the fog;-) I’ve added the fog back around the Standing Stone island & adding a few pockets of Twinbrook swamp fog along the coast.
Sharonxyz mentioned problem with map tags & a fixed blue box in top left corner. Have you been having the same issues?

I should just release Caldey Isle, but I keep finding things I want to add.
